A tribute from the heart

The story of Trappist® Tribute begins with a world trip. An adventure. Two good friends, Kenny and Koen, move from abbey to abbey and knock on the door of the Cistercians. They are welcomed with open arms.

They get to know the monks. Have deep conversations and are impressed by the authentic lifestyle and inspiring wisdom of the Trappists.

The trust is mutual. Kenny and Koen start a project that fits in with the honest philosophy of the monks. For Trappist® Tribute, they receive open support from the Trappist abbeys and the International Trappist Association (ITA). Unique.

They want to share that experience. Through the products that the monks produce:
A small part of what the monks and nuns produce in their abbeys is for their own use. Most of it is intended for sale. The Trappists and Trappistines use the proceeds to finance the needs of their religious communities. Anything extra is given to third parties. In this way, they support projects in developing countries as well as at home, or they offer help to those in need.
